Instead of Chips Why Not Try Jicama?

Jicama is one of my favorite snacks foods. I tend to eat jicama before a meal out to curb my appetite and I also find it helps my digestion. Jicama is low in calories, high in vitamin c and high in fiber. The fiber in jicama is prebiotic. There is so much talk these days about probiotics, but what about prebiotics? Probiotics are the good bacteria and prebiotics stimulate the probiotics.
Keep jicama on the counter until you cut it then you can store leftovers in the refrigerator.
