Homemade Breakfast Cereal & Food As Fuel Guide

A lot of people miss their morning breakfast cereal when switching to a whole foods way of eating.

Homemade Breakfast Cereal

Ingredients
  • ½ c almonds (use activated nuts)
  • ¼ c walnuts
  • 2 teaspoons shredded coconut
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla flavor
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 c almond milk
  • Toppings: ½ banana,1 tablespoon ground chia or flax, pumpkin seeds
  • Optional: Raspberries, blueberries, apple, mulberries or sunflower seeds
Instructions
  1. In a food processor grind the almonds and walnuts until they are coarse.
  2. Add coconut and vanilla to the food processor and pulse.
  3. Pour into cereal bowl and add 1 cup almond milk and toppings.
  4. Want it warm? Heat up the milk before pouring it over the cereal.
