Rebounding
Everyone is different in how they feel during a cleanse. Some people keep going as usual and some need a little downtime. Rebounding is great way to get some exercise in even when you don’t feel like it. You might even find it energizing.
Benefit of rebounding
- Improves energy (especially when tired)
- Boosts immune function
- Strengthens muscles
- May improve digestion
Why rebound during a cleanse?
Rebounding helps lymphatic fluid to circulate through the body. The lymph system moves waste and toxins away from the cells in the body and carries nutrients to them so they can function. The lymph system has no pump and is dependent on movement. (source)
