My Favorite Smoothie
I like to try out different smoothie recipes, and there is no shortage of ideas out there, but I always come back to this one. This smoothie keeps me full for hours. My sugar stays balanced and my energy is great. It is the one smoothie I crave.
Spinach is a rich source of many nutrients. It is an easy vegetable to toss into a smoothie. You barely taste it but know you are getting a good vegetable serving.
Pumpkin is a source of vitamin A, vitamin C and beta- carotene. You need to make sure when buying boxed or canned pumpkin that the only ingredient is pumpkin.
Cranberry is a source of manganese, vitamin C and vitamin E. A half cup serving of cranberries has only 2 grams of sugar and 3 grams of fiber.
Brazil Nuts are a good source of selenium.
